Thoughts from our new Cursillistas

I can't thank you all enough for this weekend, whether you were a team member or a Cursillistas, you all have a special place in my heart. Since a sister is someone you laugh with, cry with and love, I now consider myself to have many new sisters!
I almost didn't make the weekend. Busy with work and home life, I thought maybe I'd skip out and just lose the $20 deposit. Thankfully the Holy Spirit didn't let me do that, and it is a weekend that will be engraved in my heart forever.

The Lord gave me a gift last weekend. It was a beautiful gift of peace and
love and sharing. I love the gift of great prayer at mass and devotions, the
gift of being served by my sisters and brothers in Christ so that this gift
may be given to others in His name, of the music which fills my mind and
heart so much so that my roommate said she heard me singing in my sleep one
night! I loved the gift of stewardship, food was absolutely great, gained 2
lbs and now am trying to walk a little of that gift off, of the fun amid the
most joyful sharing of the tenets of our wonderful faith.
Thank you Lord and thank you all.
